PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the temperature of an environment using such a method that a spring with an arbitrary shape is bent by an external force and bound in this plate with a metal having a suitable melting point, and the deformation of the spring caused by melted metal that releasing the binding when the temperature of the environment rises and exceeds the melting point, is utilized and observed. SOLUTION: The relatively fine spring with a suitable size 1 is bent by applying an external force, and while keeping this state, the metal 2 having a suitable melting point is cast to form the thermometer which is inserted and sealed in a quartz tube.
