PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lock capable of preventing such mischief as forecasting a lever position with a simple structure. SOLUTION: In the lock, a lever receiving section having a receiving tool fixed to a door end section, a base plate protruded with a pair of studs longitudinally penetrating a vertical frame plate end section on the front face and bored with a central hole, and a call plate are fixed via a call bolt face to face. A rotary section having a knob on the rear side, a joint protruded on the front face of a cylindrical section on the front side, and a plate-like or bar-like lever connected to the side face of the cylindrical section are provided. A rotary section is arranged on the rear side of the base plate, and the lever is made rotatable around the axis of the joint slid in the central hole. A weight made of a high-specific gravity material is buried at a position on the opposite side to the lever receiving section against a rotary shaft axis on the front face of the cylindrical section at the vertical upper position of the lever. One end section of the lever can be coupled with the receiving tool at a horizontal position, and the lever can be dropped to a lower position by the unbalance of the weight at a vertical upper position.
