PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve productivity by mechanizing for eliminating manual removing work accompanied by problems of product quality and unsafety during operation and after a stop on a week end to deal with rubber tailings adhering to an outer peripheral surface of a take-off roll due to contact with a sheet extruded immediately after a rubber sheet extruder is stopped at the week end after a continuous operation. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the rubber sheet comprises the steps of pressing a rotatably driven canvas roller 41 against the take-off roller 30, and removing a foreign matter by mechanizing by a foreign matter removing means 40 for scratching and removing the matter with a circumferential speed difference at interstices of the canvas in-line.
