PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an environmentally friendly molded product at a low cost showing biodegradability and by injecting a raw material containing rice as a major component into a mold. SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a molded product made of rice comprises plasticizing a raw material containing rice as a major component in a cylinder barrel of a heated injection machine, storing it in the tip portion of the cylinder barrel and then injecting the plasticized raw material into the mold through a nozzle mounted at the top of the cylinder barrel.
