PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food packing vessel having insect repellent function whereto an agent developing the insect repellent function easily applicable to food packing vessels which do not require barriering capacities is applied. SOLUTION: The food packing vessel 1 having insect repellent function is made up with a bitter vomit-inducing agent applied as the insect repellent coating 20 to the exterior of a paper cup main body 10 or the like, and the bitter vomit inducing agent is made of benzyl-diethyl[(2,6-xylyl-carboammoil) methyl] ammoniumbenzoate.
