PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil type magnetic sensor minimized in dispersion of characteristics. SOLUTION: In this coil type magnetic sensor, a core 1 is formed by sintering a magnetic metal or magnetic ceramic, and finished into a rectangular parallelepiped shape by machining. A coil 2 is wound on the core 1 to form the coil type magnetic sensor. Since the dimension of the core can be precisely determined by the machining, the characteristic of each sensor can be made uniform.
