PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize, highly densify, and modularize an installing object part by reducing the size, particularly, shortening the total length dimension of a rotation sensor for detecting a rotating speed of a gear-shaped magnetic rotary body. SOLUTION: This rotation sensor is composed of intermediate parts 6-2 to 8-2 bent at a right angle to base end parts 6-1 to 8-1, and tip parts 6-3 to 8-3 bent at a right angle to the intermediate parts. The base end parts and the tip parts have a base 2 forming parallel respective terminals 6, 7 and 8 and a magnet 9 by insert molding. A magnetic detecting element 4 and the other electronic parts 5-1 and 5-2 are mounted on a surface of the tip parts 6-3 to 8-3.
