PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an abnormal image occurring in the image flow material sticking to an image carrying member surface with an image forming device which develops the electrostatic latent image formed on the image carrying member by a developing device as a toner image, transfers this toner image to a transfer material and removes the residual toners of transfer sticking to the image carrying member without being transferred by a cleaning device. SOLUTION: An adsorbent carrier 19 which carries zeolite and abuts on the surface of the image carrier 1 is provided and the image flow material sticking to the surface of the image carrier 1 is adsorbed to the zeolite and is thus removed.
