PURPOSE: A boiler and a control method thereof are provided to maximize an energy efficiency of the boiler by rapidly storing and transmitting heat and preventing the thermal loss. CONSTITUTION: A carbon thermal medium(11) generating the high temperature heat is filled in the first vacuum vessel(12). An insulating member(13) and the second vacuum vessel(14) are provided at an outer portion of the first vacuum vessel(12). A heat exchanger(16) including a heating source, a temperature sensor(20) and a swirl forming member(17) are accommodated in the carbon thermal medium(11). An opening/closing valve(21) connected to a circulation pump(23) is provided at an inlet(16') of the heat exchanger(16). A level indicating pipe(19) and a drain valve(22) are provided at the other inlet(16") of the heat exchanger(16).
