LASER THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MATERIAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser thermal transfer recording material having a high sensitivity for recording an image, a reduction in occurrence of a color muddiness and an improved color reproducibility. SOLUTION: The laser thermal transfer recording material comprises a photothermal conversion layer and a color material layer on a support. In this material, the photothermal conversion layer contains a compound represented by formula (1) and a polyimide resin.
