PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container sterilizing method and a container sterilizing apparatus in which an inside part of a container smaller than a diameter of a container main body can be sufficiently sterilized. SOLUTION: When an electron beam 4 condensed by an electro-magnetic lens 11 is irradiated inside an opening 2a of a container 2 having the opening 2a smaller than a container main body 2b, the electron beam 4 has a negative electric charge, so that they are repelled from each other within the container 2 and dispersed. Due to this fact, the electron beam 4 is uniformly irradiated within the container 2. In addition, the energy of the electron beam 4 is set as a low energy, thereby it is struck against the molecules in the air within the container 2 and dispersed, so that the electron beam 4 is more uniformly irradiated within the container. |
