PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively use effect resources by properly allocating effect imparting means (DSP: digital signal processing) giving insertion effects. SOLUTION: This musical sound playing system is provided with the effect imparting means DSP1 to DSP3 to give individual effects (insertion effect) by musical sounds of parts R1, R2 and L and playing parts of tracks 1 to 16, etc. When a playing part (R1) is indicated so as to impart an effect, the vacant effect imparting means DSP2 (2) which is not used yet is detected and displayed on a display to prompt setting or allocated automatically to the playing part R1. Further, DSP allocation priority is set for the playing part, and when no free effect imparting means is found, the effect imparting means are allocated in order from the playing part of top priority. |
