PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide photographic and electronic imaging camera which enables speedy silver halide photography and electronic photography by initializing common parts for the silver halide photography and electronic imaging operation for a start after the driving power source of the camera is turned on and speedily making photographic preparations after various imaging modes are selected. SOLUTION: This silver halide photographic and electronic imaging camera has a silver halide photographing means which exposes a silver halide film to an objected image, an electronic imaging means which has an electronic imaging element photoelectrically converting the object image, and a silver halide photographic mode, an electronic imaging mode, and a hybrid imaging mode of simultaneous silver halide photography and electronic imaging photography and performs 1st imaging preparing operation common to each of the imaging modes prior to the imaging operation of the camera and 2nd imaging preparing operation for each imaging mode after the 1st imaging preparing operation prior to imaging operation intrinsic to each imaging mode. |
