PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heater lamp apparatus for a heating roller equipped with a plurality of heater lamps in which power consumption is reduced than before and with which lighting control when heating the passage area of a transfer material can easily be performed. SOLUTION: The heater lamp apparatus for heating a roller is built in the heating roller for heating a transfer material and heating the heating roller is equipped with a plurality of heater lamps having a coil-shaped filament. Respective filaments of the plurality of heater lamps have a light emitting part and a non-light emitting part. The light emitting part of the filament in one heater lamp is arranged in the heating roller so as to face the non-light emitting part of the filament in at least one another heater lamp. In at least part of the non-light emitting part of at least one heater lamp among the plurality of heater lamps, a core rod for a short circuit is inserted into a filament coil. The core rod for a short circuit is preferably fixed to the filament.
