PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing coating composition, capable of enabling the ultraviolet cross-linking of the fluorine-containing polymer the ultraviolet cross-linking of which has been extremely difficult to be carried out at room temperature, and capable of improving the adhesion to a substrate. SOLUTION: This ultraviolet-cross-linkable coating composition of the fluorine-containing polymer, for coating the substrate comprises the fluorine- containing polymer containing 0.001-10 wt.% iodine and/or bromine, a photoinitiator as a cross-linking agent for ultraviolet cross-linking, and a cross- linking auxiliary for the ultraviolet cross-linking. The cross-linking adjuvant is (i) a compound having both of plural functional groups contributing to the cross-linking of the fluorine-containing polymer, and a functional group contributing to the adhesion to the substrate, and/or (ii) a combination of a compound A having plural functional groups contributing to the cross-linking of the fluorine-containing polymer, and a compound B having both of a functional group reactive with the compound A and a functional group contributing to the adhesion to the substrate.
