[Class 132 (ii).] A golf club carrier is made by sewing to two shaped fabric or leather portions, halves of metal frames L<1>, L<2>, L<3> shaped as shown in Fig. 5, the two portions being then sewn together, and seamed at R to form a number of club compartments A. Reinforcing leather binding is fitted at B, K, and rings F<1>, F<2> to hold an umbrella, a leather handle E, a ball cleaning sponge holder G, and a ball pocket H are provided. The mouth of the carrier is sloped to cater for clubs of different lengths and is provided with a hood, Fig. 2, secured thereto by a loop M, hasp 0, and padlock. The hood is shaped by two leather-bound metal frames Q and may be detached by opening a sliding fastener P and removing a loop C from slot N. To cater for a large number of clubs two rows of compartments A may be provided, Fig. 6, a leather apron S being then fitted to prevent club heads from contact with one another.</p> |
