PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic musical instrument which enables a user to easily input character information when waking an input by using a language, when the user has previously selected in such a case. SOLUTION: A 'choice of language' is made first. When 'Japanese' is selected, a Japanese owner name input picture 81 is displayed. This screen has an input operation window 82a displayed in a popup way in an owner name registration screen 71. A plurality of modes are prepared for Japanese input processing. The state of the figure is a 'Japanese syllabary-Chinese character' conversion mode.
