摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deal with a demand for high definition and high functionality in a method of manufacturing an electrode substrate for a color liquid crystal display device and a color liquid crystal display device which form a coloring layer through transfer. SOLUTION: Through-holes are formed on a protective layer on the electrode substrate 1 on which thin film transistors are formed. A transfer sheet 30 provided with cylinder-shaped parts 33 and a coloring layer 14 is deposited on a support sheet 26. An adhesive layer 15 is photo-cured with back-side exposure, the support sheet is released in order to transfer coloring layer parts, uncured cylinder-shaped parts and coloring layer parts are released, and uncured adhesive parts are removed. In addition, pixel wiring is exposed, a pixel electrode is formed, a light shielding layer 27 is formed with back-side exposure, and cylinder-shaped spacers 17 are formed on a light-shielding layer on a transistor element 12. With the above-described processes, display quality is improved by controlling variation in the height of the adhesive layer.
