PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light scattering film which is supressed back-scattering to prevent rainbow-coloring caused by interference of light, an electrode substrate for a reflective or a semi-transmissive liquid crystal display using this light scattering film, and a reflective or a semi-transmissive display. SOLUTION: The light scattering film comprises a transparent resin having a first refractive index and transparent particles having a second refractive index. The ratio of the first refractive index to the second is lager than 1 and 1.09 or less. The diameters of the transparent particles are different to each other. The electrode substrate for the reflective or the semi-transmissive liquid crystal display and the reflective or the semi-transmissive liquid crystal display contains this light scattering film.
