PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively discriminate between the kinds of imaging light sources. SOLUTION: In the method for discriminating between different kinds of the imaging light sources when an image is photographed, at least two image data of the same subjects photographed and of a different cut degree of an infrared light region are captured, the images are mutually compared based on the image data captured, and the kinds of the imaging light sources are discriminated from each other. The apparatus to use the method is also provided.
