PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain dryer capable of lowering a body height without necessity of providing a heat insulation or a heat shielding means in a transmission constitution by providing a compact far infrared ray radiator having a small ventilating resistance and resultantly less power required by accelerating mixing of a hot air by a hot air generator with the atmosphere. SOLUTION: The grain dryer comprises the far infrared ray radiator having one end opening faced to the hot air generator to generate the hot air, another end opening for communicating with a rear opening provided at the rear part of a dryer frame to suck the atmosphere, a combining section of the hot air generated from the generator with the atmosphere sucked from the rear opening and formed at the rear opening side, and an opening provided above the combining section to discharge the drying hot air, in a grain collecting chamber, and a grain collecting plate capable of being irradiated with the far infrared ray toward the grain flowing down thereon.
