PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a coating material comprising a wet type microcapsuled foaming agent having excellent preservation stability and preservable for a long period, and a coating material having good dispersibility, excellent preserva tion stability and utilizable for a wallpaper, etc. SOLUTION: This composition comprises the microcapsule type foaming agent and is characterized as comprising the microcapsule type foaming agent, a water-soluble organic solvent, water and a white pigment. The coating material is characterized in that an aqueous emulsion is mixed with a composition comprising the microcapsule type foaming agent.
