PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for linearization of individual order control predistortion of an intermodulation signal are provided to make exactly a reverse distortion characteristic generated against a non-linear distortion characteristic and then amplify it linearly. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of predistortion devices are positioned at an end of a non-linear power amplifier, divide a signal for non-linear amplifying and receive a level-controlled signal as an input signal. Intermodulation signal generators(315,318,321) generate intermodulation signals corresponding to each order generating from the input signal when performing a non-linear amplification. Variable attenuators(316,319,322) control the size of intermodulation signals corresponding to each order generated. Phase controllers(317,320,323) control that each attenuated signal becomes a reverse phase of a signal generating in the non-linear amplification. A combiner(324) combines an output of the predistortion device with the signal to be amplified and then transmits it to the non-linear amplifier.
