rolled stock production, namely spindle joints of bar rolling mills. SUBSTANCE: assembly includes driven shaft of roll, joint assembly of spindle and device for axially fixing joint assembly of spindle on roll shaft. Spindle joint assembly includes holder and through sleeve between which barrel-shaped rollers are arranged. Centering rings are secured to end portions of sleeve. Spherical surfaces of said rings are engaged with ring mounted on bottom of holder and with flange secured to end of holder. Device for axially fixing joint includes cylindrical rod mounted in cross openings of through sleeve and shifted relative to axis of said sleeve. Driven shaft of roll has cross semicylindrical groove in which rod is placed. Holder has two threaded openings coaxial relative to cross openings of sleeve and closed by means of plugs. Spherical surfaces of centering rings are described from joint center. Surfaces of rings arranged at side of bottom of holder have larger diameter than that of joined spherical surfaces of ring secured to sleeve at side of rolling roll and that of flange secured to end of holder. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of spindles, lowered wear of bearing assemblies of rolls, reduced unproductive expenses, improved quality of rolled metal. 2 dwg
