SUBSTANCE: one should detect the percentage of masseter muscles thickening with the help of ultrasound at 7.5-10 mHz frequency and 40-60 db sound power by the following formula: where A - initial muscular thickness, B - muscular thickness at maximum contraction. In case of 25% decrease of the percentage an inflammatory contracture is diagnosed. The method is efficient, simple and safe in application being an additional one in testing. EFFECT: higher efficiency of prediction.
