PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To overcome a defect in a conventional method for producing a metal cast mold for a vehicular aluminum wheel that a polishing process by a hand finishing work is needed to eliminate a cutter mark left on the machined surface of the metal mold. SOLUTION: The cutter mark can be eliminated by embossing the machined surface of the metal mold. Such a chemical treatment enables the elimination of hand finishing work, shortening of metal mold production time and improvements of surface machining accuracy and washing adhesiveness.
