PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which numbers of seed contained in seed mat piece per stock scraped and separated by a planting claw become fewer than adequate seed numbers (6 to 8 grains) per stock, because seed grains are made larger by using seeds whose surfaces are coated with an oxygen-generating agent in direct sowing, though a method using a seed mat obtained by fixing seeds to a mat material and separating the seed mat into a sizes corresponding to one stock and planting the separated mats into a field as one method for directly sowing seeds. SOLUTION: This seed mat is obtained by fixing seeds of a plurality of layers to a mat material formed of foam of resin, etc. This direct sowing method comprises using the seed mat, separating the mat into a size corresponding to one stock by a prescribed planting claw and planting the separated mat into a field. |
