The battery roller board for a fork truck is used as a battery charging sstation and has two outermost rollers (3,4) commonly located in forks (5), which in turn are pivotable around a shaft parallel with the axles of the rollers. If the battery (2) is to be pushed onto the roller board from another roller board which is slightly lower the outermost roller can pivot downwards durign the pushing process so that the front edge of the battery is successively lifted. The successive lifting of the front edge of the battery results in a reduction of the pushing force onto the higher roller board. Thus the roller board is flat and supports the battery, even with the outermost rollers. |
