PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a practicing person to easily master a fundamental technique of a swing, i.e., a fundamental technique of exactly hitting a ball toward a target in a short period. SOLUTION: The head of a golf club is freely attachably and detachably fitted with one end of a cord-like body and the other end side is wound around a freely rotatably pivoted reel. The cord-like body is delivered from the one end side by the movement of the head of the golf club and the length of the swing arc of the delivered cord-like body is displayed by display means in such a manner that the numeric value thereof can be read by the practicing person. The cord-like body is taken up on the reel by take-up means at the end of the swing.
