PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greening base material and a greening method dissolving problems such as starvation of nitrogen, shortage of oxygen, growth inhibiting substance, growth inhibiting fungus or the like in using undecomposed woody material and plant material for the greening base material, capable of contributing to maintenance of the natural ecosystem and various resources by effectively using a material produced at the site. SOLUTION: This greening method is capable of creating, recovering and maintaining a plant community through growth promotion of plants, improvement of the growth environment by introducing the plants to the greening site such as a face of slope or the like by spraying the greening base material obtained by mixing and dispersing a plant growth agent formulated with a pineapple enzyme and ammonia to a clay mineral and water and then mixing the agent with woody crushed material and plant crushed material obtained by crushing the material produced at the site, high analysis compound fertilizers, plant seeds and a polymer binder.
