PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a showcase which is suitable for housing and exhibiting the merchandise having different storage temperatures, such as hot merchandise and cold merchandise, and facilitates putting in and out of the merchandise. SOLUTION: This showcase has a housing section 3 for the hot merchandise in the uppermost part and a housing section 4 for the cold merchandise in the lower part thereof. The housing section 3 for the hot merchandise has an inclined shelf 5 drawable forward, and inclined shelf latching device 18 disposed in the rear part of the inclined shelf 5 and a hot plate 8 disposed in the inclined shelf 5. The housing section 4 for the cold merchandise has an inclined shelf 9 drawable forward, an inclined shelf latching device 19 disposed in the rear part of the inclined shelf 9 and a cold air circulating path 15 for circulating cold air into the housing section 4 of the cold merchandise.
