PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive and provide a method for easily and inexpensively producing a planting pot allowing saving labor and improving efficiency of an operation of fitting and arranging a planting pot in a storing pocket of a frame case and allowing changing the direction of the planting pot so that the flower faces a desired direction and storing the flower in the storing pocket of the frame case. SOLUTION: This method has a step of forming a prototypical sheet material 10 obtained by carrying out mold forming of a synthetic resin sheet and arranging a plurality of single planting pot 15 in the longitudinal and latitudinal directions, obtained by forming a part corresponding to peripheral walls 11 of the mutually adjacent planting pots 15 in inverted U shape as the whole and unitedly formed in a tray shape as the whole, a step of separating into the planting pots 15 by cutting the prototypical sheet material 10 to form a unit of the planting pot 15 and a step of forming the top end of the each planting pot in a curl shape by carrying out heat treatment of the top end and comprises a step of installing a drain hole such as a square hole and a slit on the each planting pot if necessary.
