PURPOSE: A method for designating an incoming call priority in a switch is provided to easily decide a termination priority by retrieving an optimum path of an incoming call and subdividing an office line group into each office line port. CONSTITUTION: If an incoming call is received from a switch through a DTI(Digital Trunk Interface)(101), a priority is decided according to a call category and an office line port class of the incoming call(102-113). After the priority of the incoming call is decided, the decided priority is inserted into a termination priority queue(114). After the decided priority is inserted into the termination priority queue, calls are distributed from an incoming call with a high priority to an operator position with a free state among a plurality of operator positions(115,116).
