PURPOSE: A method for previewing a linked hyper text on the Internet is provided to previously know providing information of a specific site without directly visiting the site by connecting to a corresponding URL(Uniform Resource Locator) from a CPU in case that a mouse pointer is located on a specific text, storing home page image information of the URL, and displaying the stored information through a certain layer. CONSTITUTION: In case of selecting a preview function of a site through the pop-up window(S305), a user moves a mouse pointer for clicking specific information among a plurality of information provided from the search site(S307). If the mouse pointer is located on a text having specific information, a personal terminal projects a layer on a monitor(S309). A CPU of the personal terminal connects to a URL corresponding to the linked text(S311). A picture capture engine connects to the corresponding URL and captures an internet file such as HTML(HyperText Markup Language) and XML(eXtensible Markup Language) of a corresponding page(S313). Page information of the URL is read and stored in a buffer without a click signal of the mouse pointer(S315). The page information is displayed on the layer(S317).
