PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire cutting device capable of cutting a wire so that the wire after cutting is never bent and has a plane cut surface. SOLUTION: This wire cutting device 1 comprises a first cutting member 6 mounted in cutting so as to be located closer to a grasping means side, compared with a second cutting member 7, a stopping means 17 for stopping the rotation of the first cutting member 5 to the wire 31 in the position where it abuts on the wire 31 and a load means for imparting a load to the rotation of the second cutting member 7 to the wire 31. After the first cutting member 6 is stopped by the stopping means 17, the second cutting member 7 is rotated to cut the wire 31. According to such a structure, the wire 31 on the grasped side is never bent after cutting, and the cut surface can be made plane. Thus, a satisfactory welding state in a wire boding can be obtained, and the positioning of the cut surface to a connecting position can be facilitated.
