PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a straw which enables a user to easily take even a hot drink. SOLUTION: This straw is formed by opening vent holes 2 for introducing outdoor air at the outer peripheral part of a straw body 1 formed to an elongated cylindrical shape. When the user sucks the hot drink housed into a capped container 3 from the straw body 1, the cold outdoor air is introduced from the vent holes 2 opened at the outer peripheral surface of the straw body 1 and the hot drink passing the inside of the straw body 1 is cooled by this outdoor air and therefore the user is able to take the hot drink while walking by using the straw.
