PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to flexibly cope with a change in processing order in a barrel polishing system that performs a process through a plurality of devices. SOLUTION: A robot 10 having a hand mechanism 12 capable of holding and releasing a barrel (A) is situated such that it can swivel intermittently, and a centrifugal barrel polishing machine 20 and its incidental equipment 40, 50, 60, 80, and 100 are disposed within the swiveling area of the robot 10. The barrel (A) held by the hand mechanism 12 is transported among each of the device by the intermittent swiveling action of the robot 10. Since the robot 10 can cyclically run, while holding the barrel (A), along a path that passes each device one after another, the processing order of each device can be freely changed by properly setting the stop position and its order of the robot 10. |
