<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caulking method between tube stock and a cover plate capable of shortening working hours. SOLUTION: A folding section 4 is formed by folding back substantially semi-circularly to the outside at the end of tube stock 1 and at the same time, a tubing section 8 which can insert the folding section 4 by folding the outer periphery of the cover plate 6 to the tube stock 1 side is formed. By inserting the folding section 4 into the tubing section 8, a pair of caulking dies 10, 12 in the tube stock side and cover plate side are transferred and approximated to the axial direction of the tube stock 1 and the tip end of the tubing section 8 is pressed to the bottom 18 of the caulking aperture 16 in the axial direction, to be folded inside the folding section 4. Further, the tip end of the tubing section 8 and the folding section 4 are overlapped and crushed for caulking.</p> |
