PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal potential therapeutic mat assuring comfortable sleep at all times without worrying about the generation of sweat, odor and various germs. SOLUTION: A wad of cotton which is formed by mixing natural fibers with acrylic synthetic fibers containing a 0.5-20.0 wt.% fine powder having an effective component metal silicate or metal aluminosilicate with an apparent specific gravity of 0.5 g/cm<3> or less and an average particle size of 0.5-10 μm is laminated on an electric mat unit with an electric wire cord bound into a cloth via a thin non-woven cloth. A layer having a hygroscopic property of 10% or more at 30 deg.C and a relative humidity of 70% for 24 hours is provided under the electric mat unit via a polyester solid cotton having a thickness 10-50 mm.
