PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side cushion member in a bed or the like, having the function of a care means and the function of a cushion means in addition to the function of an ordinary side fence. SOLUTION: Side cushion members 4 and 5 are arranged on the end faces of the sides of a mattress 9 on a bottom 8 in a butting state. Of those, the side cushion member 4 has supports 10 and 10 inserted into mounting holes 7 and 7 of a side frame 6, a body 11, and a grip frame member 12 mounted to the upper side of the body 11. The body 11 is set so as to nearly level the top face of the body with a headboard 2. A mounting step portion 13 of a hook shape is formed in the lower end side of the body 11 so that it may be placed on the top face of the side frame 6 and cover the outside end face of the side frame 6. |
