<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf club head with which an increase of a distance and an improvement in a hitting feel are made possible. SOLUTION: A sole portion 2 is provided with a notched part 4 extending to a toe and heel direction in such a manner that the thickness (t) of a face portion 1 made of metal attains 1.5 to 4.0 mm from the bottom end to the upper part of the face portion 1. The length Lh of a region having the thickness (t) at the central longitudinal section of the face portion 1 and the length Lb of the notched part 4 are set at the relation Lb/Lh>=1.0.</p> |
