PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processed fish-paste product having the shape-retention and chewability similar to those of Tofu (bean curd) or pudding and delicious taste and cookable to obtain a wide variety of dishes, and provide a method for producing the fish-paste product. SOLUTION: The processed fish-paste product is produced by boiling a fish paste mixture containing fish paste, albumen, yam, food oil and bittern and quenching the boiled product. Concretely, it is produced by beating albumen and yam, adding fish paste to the beaten albumen, stirring and mixing the mixture, adding food oil to bond the fish paste, boiling in hot water and quenching the product. |
