PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hobbing machine capable of providing air for chip removal to the work chuck part of a work clamp without employing a rotary joint and the like to prevent wear, burning, noise and the like from occurring between the body part of the work clamp and the air supply part of a supply ring and the like. SOLUTION: A work 26 is installed on a work table 20 through the work clamp 22 to perform gear cutting to the work 26 by a hob 19 installed in a hob head 15. An air supply passage 28 is formed in the central shaft 20a of the work table 20 and the body part 22a of the work clamp 22 to provide air for the chip removal to the work chuck part 22b of the work clamp 22.
