PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem of relatively a high cost of liquid honing work using ice particles instead of abrasive wherein manufacturing the ice particles or sliding them in proper size is indispensable, in spite of a number of advantages that no damage is given to a workpiece, that they will not remain on the surface of the workpiece, that used slurry can be easily disposed of, etc., which enlarge its range of applications. SOLUTION: This liquid honing device is composed of a flake ice manufacturing device to manufacture flakes of ice, a mixing tank to which the flakes of ice and water are supplied to manufacture ice slurry of a desired thickness, and a blast nozzle to receive supply of the ice slurry from the mixing tank to be accelerated by compression gas and blasted toward the surface of the workpiece.
