PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the opening of a shutter from being forgotten in attaching a separator to a feed gutter in the separator with the shutter preventing balls from falling from the feed gutter. SOLUTION: When a body part is attached to the shutter part, a lock projection 17 pushes downward a tip positioned opposite to a lock counterpart 21 of a lock plate 25 so that the lock plate 25 is made to swing clockwise against an energizing force of a second spring 27. Then, the lock plate 25 is released from the lock counterpart 21 and the shutter 9 moves downward by the energizing force of a first spring 23. A shutter lock arm 19 is locked to a body lock arm 15 inserted in a box body 11 along with the lock projection 17 so as to stop (b) the movement. This constitution can prevent a mistake of forgetting to open the shutter 9 when the body part is attached to the shutter part.
