Double duo-mill stand - exchangeable top casting for rolling semi-finished prod

A double duo-mill stand easily adaptable as single mill with versatile use has a removable top casting broken off at the rolling line. Both top rolls held in the top casting are thus easily serviceable as access to the bottom rolls is eased. The roll pairs are closely placed in continuous manner, driven in opposite direction and each gauge-pass lines with a blind pass in the opposite pair. Stock misses in passes are reduced due to the closeness of the two roll pairs.
