PURPOSE: A circuit for controlling a high voltage is provided to obtain a stable internal voltage by providing a high voltage having a constant voltage level. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage level detection portion(10) generates a signal to detect a level of a high voltage(Vpp). A high voltage pumping portion(12) performs an operation for pumping charges until a voltage of a high voltage transmission line approaches the high voltage(Vpp) according to an output signal of the high voltage level detection portion(10). A high voltage pumping portion(20) performs an operation for pumping charges until the voltage of the high voltage transmission line approaches the high voltage(Vpp2) according to the output signal of the high voltage level detection portion(10). A burn-in operation clamp portion(30) maintain constantly the high voltage(Vpp2) boosted to a predetermined level when a burn-in operation is performed.
