PURPOSE:To provide a photometry device with the excellent reproducibility of respective colors without causing overexposure even in the case of an object with many monochrome color such as red or blue as for the photometry device of a camera for executing the photometry of the object and obtaining a precise exposure control value. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of a photometry means 7 dividing a photographic picture into plural areas, spectrally splitting the objects in the respective divided areas to plural color components and executing the photometry thereof and an exposure control means 8 calculating the exposure control value by using the color component becoming the maximum output of the respective divided areas among the plural photometry outputs of the photometry means 7. |
