PURPOSE:To realize efficient communication management of an image forming network. CONSTITUTION:This communication management apparatus is a communication management apparatus of the image forming network having plural copying machines 2, a host computer 1 and public wirings 3 for connecting these copying machines 2 to a host computer 1. Time slots allotted to one or each of the plural copying machines 2 are prepd. as the time zones for making access to the host computer 1. The time slots are set in duration in accordance with the max. errors predicted in the internal clocks of the allotted copying machines 2, the max. connecting time predicted to be required for circuit connection, the max. communication time predicted to be required for communication and the number of units of the allotted copying machines. The copying machines 2 execute the access to the host computer 1 within the allotted time slots. |
