<p>1278831 Fluidic device CHRISTIAN BURKERT BAU ELEKTRISCHER GERATE GmbH 24 Sept 1969 [2 Oct 1968] 47054/69 Heading G4P A pneumatic logic element for static logic systems (i.e. systems which use the static pressure of compressed air for operating pistons, diaphragms &c.) can operate as more than one logic circuit by adjustment of the positions of bridging elements 16 and/or a screening member 21. The element comprises a three (or four) way valve made up of guide spider 5, sealing plug 6 and membrane 8, with any one of a number of screening members 21 (Fig. 7, not shown) connecting or cutting off external lines. A cover 17 is loosened by a screw 18 or removed and each bridging member can be moved to one of three different positions, each position being defined by projections 23 and grooves 24 and being indicated by projections 27 extending through the cover 17. The element may be of plastics material and the logic circuits may be comparator, implication, NOT, AND, inhibit, NOR, store and flip-flop.</p> |
